Dragonfly
This dragonfly was photographed on the rosbush at the bottom of my garden. Rather a surprise as I don’t know of any water nearby.
According to the British Dragonfly Society (www.british-dragonflies.org.uk) this is an immature Broad-Bodied Chaser.
